Nichrome Wire Mesh – Cr20Ni80, Cr15Ni60 and Cr20Ni35 Mesh

Nichrome woven wire mesh is also called nichrome wire cloth, is made of the nichrome wire, which is woven into regular meshes.

Nichrome is the alloy of nickel and chrome. Nichrome wire mesh will produce an adherent layer of chromic oxide which prevents further corrosion in the thermosphere, thus can securing the beneath metal from burning or fracturing. Plus its high electrical resistance and a low temperature coefficient, it is the dominating choice for resistors on high operating temperatures. In addition to this, nichrome wire mesh also is non-magnetic and featured by superior elongation, resistance to oxidation, sulfur, permeability and corrosion.

Nichrome woven wire mesh has a wide range of applications, including the aerospace, shipbuilding, military industry, chemical and other fields. It often used for hot gas filtration works, heating of tanks, electric furnaces, radiant heaters and so on.
